- The Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling accepts courses from providers approved by NBCC, CRCC, NAADAC, ASCA, APA, and State of Alabama Department of Mental Health.
- The Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses from providers approved by NBCC, ASWB, ABNP, APA, National Association of Social Work, and any other State Licensing Social Work Board.
- The Alabama Board of Examiners in Marriage and Family Therapy accepts courses from providers approved by NBCC.
