Joshua Prince (pronouns: He/Him/ His) is an experienced licensed professional clinical counselor. Joshua completed his advanced education at Kent State University, Walsh University and Regent University earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in counseling and human development, and a doctoral master’s degree in pastoral counseling. He has a strong love of lifetime learning and self-improvement. Prior to private practice, Joshua worked with diverse clients in community mental health settings. Joshua worked with children, adolescents and adults on a variety of crisis issues to include non-suicidal self-harm, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation and psychosis.

Beyond his clinical work, Joshua has provided a variety of teachings and presentations in multiple contexts to include both academia and ministry. Joshua’s approach to counseling is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  He believes that personal growth is the result of implementing techniques derived from distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. He is passionate about teaching on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Spirituality, Christian Counseling Strategies and Crisis Intervention.
