Stephen Kerestes, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS is a parochial, coordinator of School Based Mental Health, School Based Mental Health counselor, and training instructor at CommQuest Services. He has served as Internship Coordinator, adjunct professor for Motivational Interviewing at Walsh University and as lead counselor at a residential treatment center for adolescents with co-occurring disorders. He specializes in teaching social responsibility to clients and was a contributor to Dr. James Yokley’s The Clinician’s Guide to Social Responsibility Therapy: Practical Applications, Theory, and Research Support for Unhealthy, Harmful Behavior Treatment. A graduate of the University of Akron, he has received extensive training in Motivational Interviewing, and also serves as a DJ for Russell Sound Lab. He shows great passion in his work with clients as well as in supervision, training, and program development. He is a dynamic and creative speaker whose passion and sense of humor creates an engaging training experience.
